Christmas hasn't always been my favorite time of the year. I'm one of those that find it a difficult time of the year. Sadness and loneliness always shadow over it and make it hard to get through. years ago I found myself decorating the house took away from the gloom and made my world feel a little more magical than sad. If these candy canes were lining my sidewalk I would sit and look at them for hours.......but they aren't so I'll just say that creating them filled me with delight and may they decorate your gifts or tables with joy.
