May Day 2023

I love May Day. As a child we hd o much fun making May Day baskets and leaving  them on the doorstep of the neighbors & friends. Ironically, we would steal our flowers from those receiving our baskets.  We never got into trouble. Perhaps the candy we added distracted the recipients.

The little envelope I used for this design was the 72 year old envelope my birth announcement was in. It is so adorable & has so much meaning,, preserving it and using it in my designs was a must. I can't wait for you to assemble it and see for yourself how cute it is.

Yellow Roses Gift Basket

Isn't this little basket cute ?

It started out as an Easter basket but when I got to the design board the papers I designed really

didn't remind of me of Easter. 

I will use it to give someone some candy & add a note to say

 " have a sweet day".

It's small, measuring approximately  3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter.

How fun it was to fill those little baskets with flowers and candy,

leave them at someone's door & yell " May Day" at

the top of our lungs !!!!

May Day !

You know..........when we make cute little baskets, fill  them with flowers and candy....Set them on our friend's door step........

yell "MAY DAY" and run away as fast as we can !

As a child, we often made our May baskets using paper cups.

SO, I designed these labels if you want to use paper cups. 

Just glue them to the cups, add a handle and give !
